What is my security code?

It is an important new Internet security feature that now appears on the back of most Visa and MasterCards, and on the front of American Express cards. This new code is a three or four-digit number which provides a cryptographic check of the information embossed on the card.

	American Express Requirements Card Identification # REQUIRED 4 digit, non-embossed number printed above your account number on the face of your card. This number is recorded as an additional security precaution.
	Visa, and MasterCard Requirements Card Identification #REQUIRED 3 digit, non-embossed number printed on the signature panel on the back of the card immediately following the Visa card account number. This number is recorded as an additional security precaution.
